A World-class, Specifically Designed Facility
Facility
This facility was designed in conjunction with large FMCG multi-nationals, taking into account their stringent quality and safety requirements for aerosol plants and personal care production. Housed in a 10 000 square meter facility, the plant has the capacity to produce 4 500 000 aerosol units per month which is generated from 3 automated lines. The facility has capacity for 2 additional aerosol lines and has the capacity to fill liquid, cream and gel materials. The facility is designed so that personal care and non-personal care products are segregated to avoid any cross-contamination. All processes and procedures are according to the multi-national’s high standards for personal care products. Storage facilities consist of 64 000 litres of butane in the specially designed tank farm, 90 000 litres of underground SARS licensed ethanol storage and a 7000 sqm warehouse for packaging material and finished goods. A SCADA system monitors the entire plant; temperatures, air flows, product levels, extensive gas detection.

Currently, deodorants, hair care products and sanitisers are made in this section of the business. These products are manufactured in a dedicated area to ensure that there is no contamination. Certain filling lines are dedicated to these products.
